The MAJ jean (sizes 10-24) created with Alex Martin Dean, daughter of Academy Award Winner Whoopi Goldberg. Tashiba Jones-Wilson, president/designer of ZMJ Denim, and Alex Martin Dean are longtime friends. When Tashiba introduced the ZMJ line to her, Alex expressed her own concerns and issues with finding the perfect fit. Alex, who stands 5’8”, needed jeans that complimented her frame, with a super skinny fit. Hence the MAJ was born. The name was inspired by the term of endearment Alex and her husband use for their three wonderful children: Mason, Amarah, and Jerzey (MAJ, the first letter of each name). The MAJ jean aims for women on the go who want to look stylish with comfort and want a super-tight fit throughout.
